I notice that at sometimes on the Rundown that alot of people categorize
on whose black. Especially Hispanic backgrounds. It seems like
that if you have bage skin that you are either light skinned or latino but
if you are latino youre not black but half. So I wonder at times that to be
black do I have to be a certain shade of a darkness. My mother and her side
of the family had to deal of being a lighter color through their whole
lives because of my grandma's cherokee background. My Mom's
9 brothers and sisters were either dark or light because my Granma's
is Lightskinned and my Grandpa was a darkman so the nine kids were all
mismatch color. My point is that why do we choose whose is black or
not because of certain distinction. When mean distinction meaning that if
someone has a small nose, fair smooth lips, slanted eyes, with caramel skin
; she or he can't be really black, But tell what the hell do you have
to do to be really black. " But the light skinned dude hair is not nappy or
that darked skinned girl hair is naturally long with light brown eyes they
can't be fully black, can they?" That is some bullsyt. What if one of
the same person I just describe had a brother or sister from the same
mother or daddy that is a black man or black women that had wooly
hair with some round lips. "Yeah that's black" bullshyt.
We
just following the Willie Lynch Plan or that person has Willie
Lynch Syndrome.
If you have never heard of this it was about
a man who came to America who was a slave owner from the West Indies.
He came to Virginia to teach the slave owners to make the slaves obedient
to their masters. Like one of the examples were
"Pit the OLD
black male vs. the YOUNG black male, and the YOUNG black male
against the OLD black male"
"You must use the FEMALE
vs. the MALE, and the MALE vs. the FEMALE."
and Last "You must use the DARK skin slaves vs. the LIGHT
skin slaves, and the LIGHT skin slaves vs. the DARK skin
slaves."
Or is it because of the slavery in America.
Is that's really black? See the problem is the average blackperson
knows slavery from TV but not from books. They were slavery in other
countries like Brazil , Puerto Rico, and etc. They were slavery in
England so are they black or not really because they have a different
accent. Lot of south americans are Black because of Slavery but if they
came to america speaking portuguese would he be black or would you
call him something like Half Black Half Brazillian. In Puerto Rico they
were African settlers who were there before slavery in the 1500's.
That's why alot of them are dark, because they're BLACK.
Just Tell me this Have you ever thought about some of the Africans who
judge on us african descendants . To a good amount of them we are the
lost children of Africa or Mutts.
WE ARE AKATA. In africa that
means "AMERICAN COTTON PICKERS".
So What I am trying to
say is who are we to catorgorize on who is really black becasue of the
lighter skin tone, non african appearances or background. If its like that
so tell me this? Why did you vote for Barack Obama. It isn't because
He's Black. I mean he's High Yellow. Lived with his White Family
most his lives and he talks proper. He's not really Black, is
he? If anything he is more African than most the Blacks in America.
There isn't any cotton Picker in his blood.
So All I'm
saying is that Black is black. and we should accept our brother and sisters
who is or were black with any African descent or the common African
features. Lets be proud and stand up. YES WE DID.
